The vehicle repair industry offers diverse career opportunities in both business and technical environments, with all personnel taking great satisfaction from playing their part in keeping drivers safely on the road.
It takes many different people to run a bodyshop and admin, finance and managerial staff are equally as valued as technicians in this dynamic industry. As one of the country’s leading independent accident repairers, ARC Group is committed to nurturing a new generation of outstanding employees through apprenticeship programmes that cover all aspects of our business.
We are proud to say that our technicians are among the most skilled in the industry and perform a range of specialist tasks including aluminium, SMART and paint-less repair. We continually invest in ongoing staff training and state-of-the-art equipment to maintain this standard. This dedication to excellence has resulted in us achieving official approvals by major manufacturers (including specialist marques Bailey Motorhomes, Caterham, Lotus, TVR and Morgan) and many leading insurance companies.
Customer service is an essential part of our business ethos and our administration staff are key to ensuring our customers are completely satisfied from start to finish. From initial contact and assessing vehicle damage to handing back the keys following a high-quality repair, organisational, communication and people skills combine to make customer experience as smooth and painless as possible.
Specialise in repairing or replacing damaged panels. While major damage requires new panels to be fitted, many smaller dents and scratches can be repaired to as good a standard as new by combining the technician’s skill with modern equipment and repair techniques.
Responsible for the finishing of whole panels, panel sections, wheels, or even a car’s entire bodywork, Spray Painters are highly skilled in all aspects of preparation, paint and finishing. They use high-tech paints, lacquers and equipment to return a vehicle to the quality of specification it had when it left the factory.
Responsible for identifying damaged mechanical and electrical components on vehicles and removing and refitting such components before and after the vehicle is repainted / refinished, MET technicians have an extensive knowledge of the complex systems in modern vehicles.
Excellent customer service is the cornerstone of everything we do as our “customer- facing” teams engage with customers and work providers alike. From initial booking-in, meeting and greeting and communicating repair progress, to liaising with insurers and claims management companies and organising courtesy cars.
